Snug Primary School Outside School Hours Care (SPSOSHC) is seeking enthusiastic and caring Educators to join our team on a casual basis.
We provide a safe, supportive, and play-based environment where children can learn, explore, and connect after school hours. Our service is proudly unique in Tasmania, with the School Association as the Approved Provider and employer. Working closely with Snug Primary School, we ensure strong continuity for children, families, and our community.
The Role
As an Educator, you will:
- Provide quality care and support to children and their families
- Assist with daily activities and contribute to the educational program
- Help prepare snacks and meals for children
- Maintain compliance with Education and Care National Law and Regulations
Ensure the environment is safe and welcoming each day
Essential:
- Current Working With Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP – Paid Employment)
- National Criminal History Check
- Current First Aid (HLTAID012 & HLTAID0090) or willingness to obtain before commencement
- Food Safety Training Certificate, or willingness to obtain
Desirable:
- Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care OR
Certificate III or higher in School Age Education and Care
This job is covered under the Children's Services Award [MA000120] and will be classified between Level 1 and Level 3.
