Superannuation and HR: Changes Employers Need to Know

On the 1st of July 2022, the Super Guarantee (SG) eligibility threshold of $450 was discarded and the SG rate increased from 10% to 10.5% in response to legislative changes. To put it simply, all employees are now entitled to superannuation contributions regardless of monthly earnings and the amount of superannuation being paid will need adjusting to reflect the SG rate increase.
