Are you a people-centred performance expert who knows how to lift morale while strengthening accountability?

TankTec are seeking an experienced and Confident Performance Management Consultant to join our business part time for a 6-month fixed term engagement. This role is focused on revitalising our performance approach, improving clarity, capability, engagement, and overall staff morale.

We are at a pivotal point in our growth and as the business has expanded, formal people management structures and processes have not kept pace. We are now seeking a capable professional to help establish clear performance frameworks, strengthen leadership capability, and support a more structured, compliant and professional workplace environment.

This role will play a critical part in reviewing current practices, addressing behavioural and performance concerns, and implementing practical systems that align with industry regulations and best practice standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and establish clear performance management structures and processes
• Provide guidance and support in managing employee conduct and performance matters
• Develop practical policies and procedures aligned with industry requirements
• Coach and train managers and supervisors in effective performance management
• Support early intervention strategies and conflict resolution
• Strengthen workplace standards, accountability and professionalism
• Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and industry regulations

About You:

• Proven experience in performance management, HR advisory or organisational development (5+ years preferred)
• Strong background managing complex employee relations matters
• Confident addressing behavioural issues and workplace conflict and be able to balance empathy with accountability
• Skilled in training and developing leaders
• Practical, solutions-focused and able to work independently
• Strong understanding of Australian employment law and compliance obligations
• Must have Australian work rights • Minimum 4-7 years of performance management or HR advisory experience is preferred.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can quickly assess the current environment, implement structure, and create sustainable improvements within a short timeframe.
