Your business can really benefit from having a tailored suite of workplace policies

And Assurance HR Management can provide them for you!!

Imagine the time you will save!

Workplace policies are a necessary component of any successful business.

Policies spell out what the business expects of staff and other stakeholders, including contractors, volunteers, customers, shareholders and other persons or entities associated with the business.

In addition, there are many legislative and regulatory requirements which a business must adhere to that can be clearly articulated in policies and ensure all workers are aware of their legal responsibilities while undertaking work on behalf of the business.

The non-existence of workplace policies can lead to costly litigation and/or other legal and/or financial penalties which can seriously and adversely impact on the sustainability of any business.

AHR can develop a set of tailored workplace polices for any business, small to large, within any industry, ensuring the business is compliant with Australian Federal, State and Local legislation and regulations.

If and when it hits the fan the business then has what’s needed to ensure the business has the tools to address any issues which arise.

How can AHR achieve this?

  1. An AHR representative will meet with you to find out how the business is operated and to determine the short to long-term goals of the business.
  2. With this information, AHR will produce a suite of tailored and legally compliant workplace policies which reflect the way the business is expected to operate.
  3. These draft policies will then be sent to you for comment and feedback.
  4. Once the draft policies are approved, AHR will combine all the policies into one easy-to-read manual which can be distributed to all relevant workers and/or stakeholders.
  5. In addition, AHR will provide a Policy Questionnaire which tests the understanding of each policy by every worker. The final pages of the questionnaire require the worker to sign off to acknowledge the policies have been read and understood. As part of this process, the business will be provided with a Quiz Answers Manual which enables the business to assess each worker’s responses to the questionnaire.
  6. An experienced representative from AHR will then, if required, meet with all workers, in person or via an electronic medium such as Zoom, to ensure the following.
    1. Everybody really does understand each policy
    2. Why the policies are necessary for the business
    3. Why it is important for everybody to sign the documents as required and return them to the nominated person within the business.

The number of meetings required will depend on the size of the business and the number of participants involved.

Build the business culture and minimise workplace issues by making it clear the expectations for the business and workers.  Do this by having a current and compliant suite of workplace policies.
