Compliance Essentials – Equal Opportunity in Employment

Equal Employment Opportunity

Did you know that the right to ‘fair treatment’ is not only a fundamental belief in society but is also expressed in the law? This includes how you treat others in the workplace. You should also know that, under the law, whether unlawful discrimination is intended is irrelevant. Even unintentional discrimination breaks the law.

Written in partnership with leading law firm Lander & Rogers, the course outlines the behaviours that constitute unlawful discrimination and harassment in the workplace, and what workers should do if they are exposed to these behaviours. It also offers guidance on legal obligations, as well as ways to support a culture that is fair, equitable and free from discrimination.

The content is presented in a traditional elearning format and features written scenarios to contextualise behaviour that shows unlawful discrimination and harassment.

The course is responsive – providing an optimal user experience on smartphone, tablet and desktop computer.
